What We Specialize In

Our Core Areas of Focus

We’ve been training employers across Hong Kong since 2019. Our materials cover everything from basic salary mechanics to complex compliance requirements. It’s not theoretical — it’s practical knowledge you can implement immediately.

Salary Calculation

Understanding how to calculate gross and net salaries correctly. We break down deductions, allowances, and statutory requirements so you’re not guessing.

MPF Administration

Mandatory Provident Fund contributions can be confusing. We explain employer obligations, employee contributions, and how to manage your fund correctly.

Leave Entitlements

Annual leave, sick leave, public holidays — Hong Kong has specific rules. We help you understand what your employees are entitled to and how to track it properly.

Statutory Compliance

Employment Ordinance requirements, tax regulations, and reporting obligations. Staying compliant doesn’t have to be stressful when you know what to do.

Payroll Systems

Setting up efficient payroll workflows, choosing the right tools, and automating processes. We show you how modern systems can save time and reduce errors.

Best Practices

Industry standards, documentation best practices, and how to handle edge cases. Real-world scenarios from actual payroll situations employers face daily.

Our Beginning

How PayrollPro Academy Limited Started

Back in 2019, we noticed a real gap. Small and medium-sized employers in Hong Kong were struggling with payroll management. They weren’t trying to cut corners — they just didn’t have access to clear, practical training materials. Accountants weren’t always available when questions came up. HR teams were overwhelmed.

We decided to create something different. Educational materials that actually explain Hong Kong’s payroll landscape. Not boring compliance documents. Not overly technical accounting jargon. Just straightforward guidance on salary calculation, MPF contributions, leave tracking, and statutory compliance that employers can actually use.

Since then, we’ve trained over 1,200 employers. They’ve told us the same thing: they wish they’d found this information earlier. It’s saved them time, reduced payroll errors, and given them confidence that they’re handling employee compensation correctly. That’s what drives us. Making payroll management less stressful for Hong Kong businesses.

Our Methodology

How We Teach Payroll Management

Our approach is built on years of working with Hong Kong employers. We don’t assume you’re an accountant. We start from the basics and build up systematically.

1

Start with the Fundamentals

We begin with how Hong Kong salary structures work. What counts as gross salary, what are deductions, how does the Employment Ordinance define different payment types. You’ll have the foundation right from the start.

2

Deep Dive into MPF

MPF administration trips up a lot of employers. We walk through contribution rates, exemptions, reporting requirements, and common mistakes. By the end, you’ll understand exactly what you owe and when.

3

Master Leave Management

Annual leave, sick leave, public holidays, study leave — Hong Kong has specific rules for each. We show you how to calculate entitlements correctly and maintain proper records.

4

Navigate Statutory Requirements

Compliance isn’t optional. We cover tax withholding, employee registration, annual filings, and what to do if things go wrong. You’ll know exactly what’s required and how to stay on the right side of regulations.

5

Apply Practical Solutions

Theory is great, but you need real solutions. We share templates, checklists, system recommendations, and case studies. You’ll have the tools to implement what you’ve learned immediately.
